Cloud 9 is a mourning song initially written by Izzy for his friend and classmate, Fazal, who died in 2014. It also continues the life of Jane based this concept album storyline, where she mourns the death of her parents (though how painful her life is with them in Family Matters). The shock news came to her as she mourns and went deeper to the black hole of depression, alone and no one to turn to. She found happiness though through the next song, In The Grains of Sand, as she finally Rest in Peace.
